Steve’s garage in Palmetto, FL had great potential—he just needed a smarter way to use the back wall. The goal was to maximize storage without interfering with existing features, and this project delivered exactly that. By carefully working around the corner of the room and the start of the solar cells, we were able to install an impressive 12-foot run of cabinets and shelving that instantly elevated both function and appearance.
To make the space even more usable, we added a slatwall section around the windows for easy grab-and-go storage. The fog gray commercial-grade cabinets with black edge banding pair perfectly with the hand-finished, 9-foot-long butcher block countertop, creating a clean, durable workspace. Heavy-duty PVC slatwall and 12 inches of 24-inch-deep Monkey Bars inverted shelving round out the setup, giving Steve plenty of room to organize tools, gear, and everyday essentials—without cluttering the floor.
