This Sarasota, FL garage makeover was all about sleek design and smart problem-solving. The client wanted floating fog gray cabinets with finger pull handles running seamlessly across the space, without any awkward cutouts. The challenge? The back wall housed an A/C drain line, conduit, and a washing machine drain. Instead of compromising the design, the wall was furred out 3 ½ inches, creating a flawless surface for mounting the cabinets.
The finished garage features fog gray cabinetry with black edge banding, brushed nickel finger pulls, and a warm butcher block countertop that ties it all together. A slatwall system was added for versatile storage, keeping tools and accessories within easy reach while maintaining a clean, modern look. This project proves that even functional spaces can feel elevated with the right design choices.
