This homeowner in Venice, FL had a blank-canvas 3-car garage with tons of future possibilities, but bins and boxes left over from a previous move were scattered across the floor. Without dedicated storage systems, the clutter had reached the point where the cars couldn't comfortably fit inside. As the first step in a potential multi-stage garage organization plan, we focused on maximizing unused overhead space and getting those belongings up and off the floor.
The solution included five Monkey Bars 4' x 8' overhead racks, each with a 750-pound carrying capacity, installed above the roll-up doors and in other open areas. We also added an L-shaped section of 32-inch-deep Desert Stone Monkey Bars inverted shelving near the interior entrance. Altogether, the new systems created more than 200 square feet of additional garage storage, with much of it positioned to allow two storage totes to be stacked high. Gabe and Jake completed the entire installation in just one afternoon, giving the homeowner a huge boost in storage capacity while reclaiming valuable space for the cars.
