This garage project in Lakewood Ranch, FL focused on creating an easier, safer way to store heavy and bulky items while freeing up valuable floor space. The client wanted a solution that would keep long and heavy storage items off the ground without sacrificing accessibility—and a powered overhead rack was the perfect fit.
We installed a 4' x 8' Auxx Lift system with a 600 lb capacity, providing 32 square feet of motorized storage that can be raised or lowered with the push of a button. This setup allows the client to store items overhead while still being able to access them effortlessly. Due to the garage’s structure, we also incorporated an adapter kit to ensure proper installation since the lift direction didn’t run parallel with the trusses. Installed in just a few hours by Gabe and Barron, this upgrade delivers both convenience and performance in one clean solution.
