Moving into a new home is the perfect opportunity to create an organized garage from day one. While closing on their new home in Sarasota, FL, this homeowner contacted us to coordinate a complete garage transformation before move-in. After an initial consultation, we developed a custom 3D design that was refined to include an open-ended, grab-and-go sitting station near the entry door, along with plenty of overhead storage for long-term organization.
The finished garage features a 1/4-inch Tidal Wave epoxy/polyaspartic floor coating, white commercial-grade cabinets with sleek 16-inch brushed nickel bar handles, and a beautiful 1½-inch butcher block countertop that creates a functional workspace. Gray heavy-duty PVC slatwall with matching accessories keeps everyday tools and gear within easy reach, while Monkey Bars inverted shelving, shelf racks, and single bar kits maximize overhead storage without sacrificing valuable floor space. The completed design provides an ideal balance of accessible everyday storage, long-term organization, and plenty of room for vehicles and walkways.
To meet the homeowner's move-in schedule, the project was completed over two consecutive days. The garage floor coating was installed on day one, followed by the complete storage system installation on day two, ensuring the space was clean, organized, and ready to use the moment the homeowners moved in.
