Moving into a new home left this client in Venice, FL frustrated with the lack of garage storage. Living in an active community also meant curb appeal was important, so the goal was to add plenty of usable storage while maintaining a clean, open look. The solution centered around an open-ended workstation featuring white commercial-grade cabinets, PVC slatwall, and a substantial 1 1/2-inch American Birch butcher block countertop. The American-manufactured cabinets feature 50 PSI thermally fused, 3/4-inch-thick melamine with full-box construction and are completely wall-mounted for a streamlined finish.
For longer-term storage, Monkey Bars overhead racks were installed above the roll-up garage door, making smart use of otherwise underutilized ceiling space. With a 750-pound carrying capacity, the overhead racks provide substantial storage while keeping the main garage area open and accessible. Together, the workstation, slatwall, enclosed cabinets, and overhead storage give this homeowner a versatile setup that balances organization with curb appeal.
