After a recent move, this homeowner in Lakewood Ranch, FL found themselves facing a garage packed with clutter and no clear place for everything to go. Since this would likely be their forever home, creating a clean and visually appealing garage became a major priority — especially when the garage doors were open and visible from the street.
To dramatically improve both organization and curb appeal, we designed a symmetrical “bookend” cabinet layout that maximized storage capacity while still preserving enough room for a vehicle to comfortably pull into the garage. The final setup featured beautiful Fog Gray cabinets with sleek black edge banding, full-extension drawers for easy accessibility, a warm 1 1/2" thick butcher block countertop, and plenty of heavy-duty gray PVC slatwall positioned along the least visible wall to keep frequently used items organized without overwhelming the space visually. The result was a polished and highly functional garage transformation that turned open clutter into clean, concealed storage. Gabe, Barron, Jake, and Nolan completed the entire project in just one day.
