An empty garage gave us a great opportunity to add some storage essentials for this homeowner in Sarasota, FL. The new layout creates plenty of enclosed storage along the back wall, while the left wall provides a smart mix of long-term and hook storage. The open-ended workstation keeps the garage feeling spacious while giving John a dedicated area for projects, organization, and everyday tasks.
The workstation features American-made, commercial-grade white cabinets with 16-inch brushed nickel bar handles, a slatwall backsplash, and a substantial 1 1/2-inch-thick butcher block countertop. A Monkey Bars shelf rack adds valuable storage for larger or longer-term items while making better use of vertical space. Together, these storage essentials transformed an empty garage into a clean, functional setup designed for everyday use. Gabe and Barron completed the entire project in just one day!
