Every garage presents unique opportunities, and this project in Lakewood Ranch, FL is a perfect example of how custom design can transform a challenging layout into a standout feature. The homeowner wanted to make the most of an empty wall near the interior entry door, where an angled wall made traditional cabinetry difficult to install. After exploring several design concepts, we developed a custom solution that blended seamlessly with the space while creating an attractive and highly functional workstation.
The finished design features white commercial-grade cabinetry with 16-inch brushed nickel bar handles, a 1½-inch American Birch butcher block countertop that was custom-cut to match the angled wall, and heavy-duty gray PVC slatwall that wraps the workspace for convenient grab-and-go storage. The result is a clean, built-in appearance that feels like it was always part of the home's original design while providing everyday functionality right inside the garage entry. Jesse and Jake completed the entire installation in just one day, delivering a custom workspace that the homeowner is proud to showcase.
