This Nokomis, FL homeowner reached out during a full home remodel looking for a way to make the garage match the finished look and feel of the rest of the house. With a modern farmhouse style and pops of black throughout the home, custom black garage cabinets were the perfect fit. A thoughtfully designed blind corner cabinet layout with an open-ended workstation added tons of enclosed storage without significantly changing the walking or parking flow of the garage.
The finished design features custom American-made black cabinets with soft-close hinges and undermount soft-close drawer glides, accented by 16-inch brushed nickel bar handles. A heavy-duty PVC slatwall backsplash adds flexible organization behind the workstation, while a 1 1/2-inch-thick, hand-finished butcher block countertop brings warmth to the bold black cabinetry. Full decorative end panels create a completely hidden-fastener look for an extra-polished finish. Best of all, Gabe, Lawson, Barron & Nolan completed the entire project in just one day!
