After selling a previous home, this repeat client called us looking for help with the garage in his new Sarasota, FL space. The garage was completely empty, and after being used to having a garage full of storage, that simply wasn’t going to work! Together, we developed a clean, easily accessible design for the left and back walls that would provide the right mix of grab-n-go storage, enclosed storage, and long-term storage above head height.
The finished layout features white, American-made commercial-grade cabinets with 16-inch brushed nickel bar handles and a 1 1/2-inch-thick butcher block countertop for a clean, polished workstation. Heavy-duty PVC slatwall keeps frequently used gear within easy reach, while Monkey Bars single-bar kits and inverted shelving take advantage of vertical and overhead space for longer-term storage. The result gives this repeat client the familiar storage capacity he was missing while keeping the new garage clean, accessible, and ready for everyday use.
